I'm using this is a chance to really make the switch from what I was using to just all SkinFood. I've learned a couple of things. One is that my skin feels so much better when I go through the routine of washing my face morning and night. Both regimens I've tried show improved skin texture when I'm using them morning and night. I made one mistake in my experiment though because I also switched my part of my hair which seems to create a whole new blend of gray/brunette/highlights so when a teacher at school stopped me yesterday to tell me that she wasn't sure if it was my hair or my skin care, but that I was looking especially great and my skin was glowing. I switched the hair part 3 weeks ago, but the skin care I only started 2 weeks ago. I love the smell of the products and that they are natural and that they come from a small business. My other products had more chemical in them and were sold through something akin to tupperware sales - you only get a discount if you also start selling them - and I'm not super into that. So, even if they both turn out the same results, I'm still switching over, but I think Skin Food is just making my skin look better. Also, SkinFood costs less and I love that as well. I know this is more a review story than just a review, but skin care choices are complicated like that sometimes. And also, I can't recommend enough the habit of twice a day skin care. One life hack I've found helps is that sometimes I do the night routine when I get home from work and change out of my work clothes and then I'm done for the night. Hooray for BoostCamp and Reishi!
